Bio Band Members Facts & Quotes What they are saying about the C.D. Updated! It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the Fabricators announce the passing of John Witmer (Lead singer). He was truly one of Canada's best Blues Singer/Songwriters. John started his blues career in the early 1970's performing with the Band Whiskey Howl, in the 80's John signed with the Down Childs Blues Band and performed with them till 1982. He finished his career on the West Coast singing and writing with the Belairs and the Fabricators. John's passing is a great loss to the Canadian music scene and he will be sadly missed by all his fans, friends and family.
